How To Help The Animals!
If you’re like me then you seriously have a yearning to help save all the animals! All though you can’t help them all. You can still make a difference in one’s life. Remember this,“Saving one animal won’t change the world. But it will change the world for that one animal.”
Here are 17 ways you can make a difference!
- Donate money or supplies to your favorite animal welfare organization. Here is a list to help you decide which one: Recommended Organizations
- Volunteer at your local animal welfare organization. How to get Started I used to walk dogs at the humane society. Volunteering can be a fun and rewarding experience! It also looks good on a resume!
- Go Vegan. In just one day a vegan saves one animal’s life, 1,100 gallons of water, 30 sq ft of forested land, and 45 pounds of grain. Please Choose Compassion!

- Sign petitions to help stop animal cruelty at: change.org or care2.com.
- Spay or neuter your dog or cat. Reduce the amount of unwanted homeless pets.
- Do a fundraiser for whichever animal welfare organization you like and donate proceeds.
- Don’t support zoos instead visit, volunteer or become a member at an animal sanctuary.
- Start an animal advocate blog.
- Sponsor an animal at a sanctuary. farmsanctuary.org
- Buy Cruelty-free products. By using cruelty-free products you are becoming part of the solution. And thus the demand for cruelty-free products will increase.
- Shop on Amazon smile smile.amazon.com. You can choose the charity of your choice. Purchase go towards donations to your chosen charity.
- Instead of buying a pet from a breeder, adopt one from an animal shelter.
- Foster an animal. At most animal shelters they are in need of foster parents for some of the animals.
- Create a t-shirt with a positive message and wear it! I’m going to do this with my favorite animal pictures. I want one for everyday of the week! lol
